Agency “Law and Health” is information and discussion resource, which aims to consolidate and develop a community of experts on legal issues pertaining to the functioning of the medicine and other areas that affect the health of both the individual and society as a whole.
The agency is based on Center for International Human Rights of the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” within the program “Ethical and legal issues of bioethics, pharmaceutical and medical law”.
Director of the agency is a specialist in medical and pharmaceutical law Zoryana Chernenko:
JD (Poland), medical lawyer. Professional Experience: Consultant of international organizations, Chairman of the Commission on the Medical Reform of Public Council of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Chairman of the board of NGO “Ukrainian Medical and Legal Association”, Associate Proffesor of Faculty of Law and School of Public Health of National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”, a member of the World Association of Medical Law.
Author of 15 scientific publications, 50 publications in legal, business press, courses: Medical Law, Human Rights and Biomedicine, Contract Law in Health Care, Intellectual Property in Health care, Legal regulation of health care, International protection of gender rights and children’s rights, Legal regulation of social policy.
